The timing for this year is totally off. Hari Qurban is today and we are off, company declared a half-day holiday for us on Saturday in conjunction with the partnership with two other big foreign company, Sunday as an off day, and then Christmas on Tuesday. Friday and Monday still go back to work, but with extra nice part is that on Monday it's half day for me without even apply one. :P Was thinking to go to Singapore this year, but due to odd timing, have to put it off. So this year will celebrate Christmas here. Now, with whom I should celebrate Christmas with?
HADY MIRZA The competition is really tough. All of them have their own strengths. But if based on the performance, I think Mike or Jac could have become the Asian Idol. *sob sob* The good thing is that I didn't spend a bomb just to send votes for Jac. But the bad thing is........she's not the chosen one. *sob sob sob sob* Anyway Hady, congratulation for becoming the first Asian Idol. :) Do make asian proud :)
After Asia Bagus, the next singing reality show was Asian Idol. It was a real tough competition as 6 very superb IDOLS from 6 asian countries, join hands together to compete with each other at Jakarta, Indonesia. Well, here are my comments about their performances INDIA - ABHIJEET SAWANT - I find that his 1st and 2nd performance was just OK. PHILIPPINES - MAU MARCELO - I'm actually expecting something great in her since she is not only big size, but she also have the big voice. However, based on her 2nd performance, it was a total let down that she can actually sing more higher pitch as the song crescendoing and she didn't do it. MALAYSIA - JACLYN VICTOR - My biggest favourite IDOL of all season. At her first performance, I thought that her performance was quite good. But based on Malaysia's IDOL JUDGE Paul Moss's comment, there's no magical in the performance, which I somehow doubt why. Understand that she was not feeling well when she was at Jakarta, and the best part of all is that she lost her voice. I was glad that her vocal is still as powerful as before. Her 2nd performance is still outstanding, however I do think that what SINGAPORE JUDGE Ken Lim commented were quite true..it was quite technical and somehow felt like kinda a routine thing. Finger cross that she will be the one. VIETNAM - PHUONG VY - Her first performance was good. Fast and catchy song and her vocal really good. Her second performance was a melancholic love type of songs. It was a so so only. INDONESIA - MIKE MOHEDE - 'Ruben Studdard of Indonesia', despite of his big size, he does have a big voice, with extra sweet. His voice really can kill lots of girls. However, his first performance was kinda boring. His second performance..FUIYOOOOOO....DAMMMMMM GOOD. SINGAPORE - HADY MIRZA - Good looking malay hailing from Singapore, his voice was indeed good, too good that he can't really deliver his 2nd performance where it was suppose to be quite rock. ----------------------------------------- OVERALL - Honestly, the performance was just so so.. Am actually expecting even more canggih. Well, now that the performance show is over, I am now anticipating for the Result Show...I already root for my favourite, so what's yours? Malaysian, don't forget to tune in for the ASIAN IDOL RESULT SHOW on the 16th December 2007 at 10pm..only on 8tv.
FRIDAY With or without realising it, normally many will feel relieve that it's friday. The day that they can go clubbing after work. The day that they can start planning their programmes for weekend. The day that they can kick some ass at some place. Well..just like a restaurant. THANK GOD IT'S FRIDAY!! yeah..they even have the snack packets ---------------------------------------- After work, all of us went to the bowling centre just inside the Times Square. Had a game of 2, all of us were laughing at each other's skill and where the ball end up. Good thing is that I didn't end up in long kang 'everytime'. Anyway...my arm were kinda painful a bit as it's been a while I since play bowling game. I think the last time I have bowling game was last year. Anyway....that doesn't stop me from taking pictures with my colleagues ...and not forgetting my vain pot moments
Just recently myself and Kiki were preparing ourselves for 2 days Role Play training when one of the branch exec (I will only address this person as Make-Up Man) standing behind me and started to asked me a ridiculous question that goes like this:- Make-Up Man : How did you get your manly voice? Me : EXCUSE ME?!? Him : You don't ask me to excuse yourself cos am asking you a question! ** Me and Kiki were looking at each other and somehow we were like really shocked on what he had just asked me. Me : Can you please repeat that question again? Him : I said..how did you get your manly voice ah? Me : **Was still making my brain running to choose either to give him an honest scientific answer or a stupidest answer** Well, I think it got something to do with my hormone. Seriously, out of so many questions I've been asked, and of course I was being re-asked again about myself, those questions are still considerable far more better than this type of question. It's like me asking you a question like "How you get natural blue eye" or "how you get the nice sexy leg". Honestly lar....I don't mean to offend him lar..but then, it would be more better if he could just keep his mouth shut and NOT to ask this kind of question. It kinda..ya know...irritating. There's only one thing that I would really like to advise him if he happen to read my blog. STAY AWAY FROM A FOUNDATION MAKE UP, WILL YA?!??
That's right...at any days within this year I do have the siao-est that I encounter. Today I guess it was the Siaooooooooooo-est day that I had to go through. 1) Was in the train for my journey to work; standing next to me was a pregnant malay lady and sitting down in front of us was 2 old aunties, another pregnant women and a mid age 'ah pek' guy. In my inner-self, I was feeling to tell the ah pek to get his ass out of the seat and let the standing pregnant lady to be seated. By the way, behind them was a glass with the signage that mentioned priority for old folks, pregnant ladies, blind people, handicapped and those with children and the best part of all is the signage said 'Aren't You Courteous'? To me for this ah pek, courteous my ass. 2) Since yesterday I met up with Still for dinner at Robert Harris Cafe and already spend $$ just on travelling and dinner with him. This afternoon during my lunch, I had lunch with him again at Zen Pavilion KL and again I already spend $$. Overall, it's $$$$ that already fly away. Now I have to really tighten up my belt. 3) Today am about to take the monorail that was suppose to go to KL Sentral when a flocks of crowds were rushing in into the train, and inside the train it was already jam pack with peoples, truely packed like sardine. At my previous experienced, I had this situation happened, with additional that few young girls were rudely cutting my que and were rudely squeezing me out of the way when I'm trying to get in, and so I fedup, using my elbow, knock and bang one of the rude girl and my way out off the train (and apparently I heard a loud OUCH from her..serve her right). I made my way to the other side, where it leads to Bukit Nenas so that I can take the LRT nearby there, which is even less crowd. Call me a bitch or ass hole, but I just don't give a damm on what they think about me, besides, I think they themselves should think twice before start calling people a bitch or ass hole as they are apparently a true bitch and ass hole to create a inconvenient scene. As for this one, since it was jam pack, I have decided to go to the other side again, and that's when I bump into my collegues James and Azrin, as they had just finished dinner and was making their way back home to the same direction as I'm going as well. In the train it was not too bad, not really pack. Except to the part when I reach my destination and I need to make my move, there are too many obstruction going on from my position to the door, and people in between were not moving their ass off and were kinda don't whether to decide to go down or not. I've been keep saying "excuse me" "excuse me" until the main door and there I saw 3 ladies who was still seated by the door site who only then make their way out, and again, obstructing the way out. In addition to that, the guy was also blocking the door, despite hearing me saying 'excuse me'. As the door was about to be shut, I quickly push the guy aside so that I could get out of there without getting 'ham chim peng'. Once outside, I gave him a Fark Off stares, and leave the place. Apparently, I just don't know why I have a Farking Day going on today. Now what the Fark is going on?

A musical concert, well...more towards a choir that will be perform by a group of youth singers. My kai-di was one of them and am attending to give him a moral support, and also to experience what is it like to attend a musical performance in KL.
Weee~~...my friend got back to KL from Aussie and Singapore, and he got me a big packet filled with nougats as big as 1KG. For now, I think this nougats can last me until Christmas..if I didn't keep munching it while watching any movies. So sweet of him. lovely nougats..yummy
-------------------------------------------------- STEP CLASS is still on. Always feel energetic and sexy everytime I attend the class. This time I get to chat with the instructor for a while though. Last week she taught us the steps that we did last week, slowly and step by step. And finally I manage to get through (well, I was not being consistent and had bad memory in remembering the steps though). Today I was on MSN with my friend in Singapore, who is also an active gym member for our club, and he is the same person that recommend and motivate me to join the class. Today's chat was about music, as I asked him if he used to like ABBA songs, and he told me that he used to like it last time, but for now he prefer Christina Aguilera. And so, he asked me whether I want to become an instructor already, and I told him that it is still long way to go to become an instructor for gym class. But hey, why not, there's possibility though. If there's a will, there is sure a way. ---------------------------------------------------- Weekend was indeed an ok day for me, expect that I have to be alone while travelling around KL city. Friend asked me to help him search for the pirated version of Microsoft Office 2007 and etc. To my surprise, I don't see any counters or stalls that sell those. Probably there's 'operasi' going on. Well, here how I made my journey. KL Sentral down to Imbi Monorail then to Low Yatt then to HSBC tower to make my payment via deposit machine then to Menara SCB for step class. AN hour plus later, walked all the way back to Low Yatt, and roam around at the 2nd and 3rd floor to find the stalls but invain, then over to Sg Wang and roam around again from ground floor to 6th floor and can't find what I want. Next destination after that was walking over to Lot 10 and roam around there for a while before I decided to walk over to KLCC via Regent Hotel and Cosway, and once reach KLCC, roam around from basement until 3rd floor. Ooo..I also went over to Maxis Centre to make my bill payment when I happen to meet up my x-collegue SV, and he has been so nice assisting with my internet issue. After I have made payments and enquiries and assistance on my queries, I then went back to the counter where SV is located and had chatted with him quite a lot of stuff, about work, personal life and even about love relationship stuff. Well, he was few years older than me, so I really respect him as my senior and also as a friend. From KLCC, then roam around a bit more while keep thinking about what I want to have for dinner before I finally decided to leave KLCC via train with my empty stomache. Upon reaching KJ station, I was so tired and sleepy and still need to wait up for my friend to fetch me from there and to have supper. Went to Wong Kwok SS2 and had my favourite pastas as my supper. After the supper, he sent me home. Unpack stuff, took shower and apply cream treatment on my pimples, and lied on my bed to rest a while and the next thing I know is the next day was already Monday morning. Aarggh....Gosh..I hate monday. (and I still got extra time to become a vain-pot while doing window shopping in Sungei Wang) ----------------------------------- OK....talking about the internet stuff.. Basically many of my friends thought I used Streamyx to make connection. Sorry, although I'm working part of it, but I chosed to use Maxis Wireless Broadband with only one reason...it's wireless. That's right..In case if I were to move out to elsewhere, I don't have to do relocation query..All I need to do is just bring over the modem with me to the new place. Not only that, I can also bring it together with me while I'm in the major city and I can still go online while getting stuck in the jam. How cool is that. Connection wise was stable for the first few months of my subscription until it comes into the 4th month, whereby there was maintenance on network going on (it didn't affect from the Taiwan Earthquake incident though) and I can't use the internet for weeks until 1 week prior for my homecoming trip. The only thing that I'm not satisfy about this service was the information gave by the reseller, and also the people and even to the counter staff at TTDI about the HomeVoice Standard Package charge. Basically, my only reason to apply their broadband service is just for online purpose, not making phone calls or something like that as I already had my mobile phone. When I subscribe them, I also got the promo of 6months fee-waive on homevoice service and thereafter will be chargeable at RM15/mth. During the 6months waiveable period, I was still being charged on homevoice, and this really upset and frustrate me a lot. I even waste my 1 lunch-hour plus just to get my ass down to TTDI and make queries and complaint on the homevoice charge and the staff told me that they will waive it for me and also make sure that the following months of the promo's duration won't charge me. Unfortunately, my frustration has fallen into the deaf ear perhaps as there are still charge on the following month. Basically, on technical wise, I like it very much, but sometimes it was not really stable and kinda frustrated with it. Billing wise, I think this is what make Maxis become a well built company with stable incomes, for charging people on the services that was not suppose to be charged and only those smart people who look into the bill everytime the bill comes will know what is going on. SV has helped me a lot by suggesting me to get the homevoice service terminate since me as a customer has the right to terminate the homevoice as I don't use it and it was not logic for me to pay for the homevoice when I don't use it at all. --------------------------------------------------- Tonight's step class was incredible. Well, it's an intermediate level. I able to catch it up the steps though, but still need to learn more on it's variation of turning point part.. Well, it aint easy. Can you see me in this pic? Which one is me? Highlight this one to find out the truth ->I'm Not In The Pic >:P<-- Tonight was even challenging than the other instructor. Instead of just one board that we do the steps, we used 2 boards, one board on your left and another one on your right and you stand in between. not as much as this one though We first taught of the steps, step by step, and then slowly utilize the two boards on both sides and then finally increase the speed and keep do the step and turn and spin and kick. Phew~...This time am kinda dizzy after been turning round and round. Scary.~ But it was fun. Every time I attend the class, I always look forward for the excitement of fitness in physical terms. I can feel the tense on my lower body, especially on my butt and leg. -----------------------------------------------------

Wednesday afternoon, and cloudy heaty and stuffy afternoon, we had lunch at this restaurant, a malay restaurant, furnished with Ikea stuff. Food wise, it was good, tasty and reasonbly cheap. Drinks, iced water and syrup water is free of charge. Curry Puff, it's small but filling, skin is tender smooth and tasty and yet it's filling, simply delicious. Too bad, I didn't take the photos of all those foods as I was unwell again (probably didn't had enough rest). While we were on our way back to office. This is what we get.. A Joker poses up himself by the pose (And good thing that there's no lightning that time) And suddenly, here comes an interruptive lady-like CHI-WAWA making the scene. And so, these 2, Joker and CHI-WAWA, walks together (AH!!KA DEL AH?) That's all folks.

By the time I blog about it, it was already 25th June 12.15am. Well, I just can't believe it. My birthday is just over. I only have 24hour time for me to celebrate my birthday and do whatever I want as a Birthday Guy of the day. Anyway..here's what happen 23rd June - Dinner Time Had dinner with my friends at The Manhattan Fish Market. Ordered the 3people meals with one basket of half dozen mussells with 4 people sitting by the table for meals. I thought it will cost us a bomb and also the food not enough for us to munch. Thank God that, well, all of us were just enough full. (Thanks to the bottomless drink). We chatted lots of stuff, like FS, Music, Work life, Love life, etc.... After that, we then had our photo sessions, taken place at outside Sunway Resort Hotel and also inside. Photo shots were taken by my photo-vain buddy Kev with his new baby NIKON. We all tested all kinds of angles, position, posture and pose to produce a very nice portrait of ours (freelance rojak modelling), and to some it actually turn out to be good though..(just need to improvise more on the photo quality wise, I guess). YOU CAUGHT ME, KEV Went home at around 10pm something, went out again to 'cucuk' money and bought myself 2 cans of friendly-user beer and 2 bars of chocolate to bring back home and munch while waiting for the right time, for the right moment. Prior to midnight, few friends of mine did wished me. Am still ok though. Just few minutes prior to midnight, few incoming messages from MSN jam up my window and from then I've been super busy entertaining their replies. At the strike of 12AM, that's where from ordinary quiet became very super busy and was flooded with SMS, MSN and even in the websites like friendster, multiply, etc. WAH....If I were to compare this year, last year (2006) and last 2 years ago (2005), this year was the most busiest birthday ever to received non-stop sms, until my phone got lagging while retrieving the message. Well, at least am happy, just that comparing with last year and few years back, during my celebration in KL, I've been celebrated with friends prior to my big day, but not on my BIG day. Last year was even worse when I were suppose to celebrate with friend, of whom later that week he unable to make it due to valid reason (which I would not disclose here), and ended up celebrated my birthday in Genting...ALONE!! Anyway, from 12am until 2am, was still busy with SMS and MSN, chat, chat, chat and then got too tired until I slept. 24th JUNE - Later that time at 8am plus, my mum called me up....wished me birthday, from then, all sms and calls start to flood in again. Another busy day for me. In the afternoon, had lunch with my friend BUBU at DOME LOT 10. Had my 1st birthday meal of the day for 'CATCH OF THE DAY', followed up Chocolate Mousse Cake to represent my Birthday Cake and chatted like hours before we moved on to KL Plaza and then walk over to KLCC. BEING COOL AT THE STATION CATCH OF THE DAY CHOCOLATE MOUSSE CAKE Once reached KLCC, BUBU started his shopping at REPLAY outlet and bought himself a pair of jeans. Then walked over to shop by shop and BUBU asked me what I want coz he wanted to get me a birthday present. I told him, having you to accompany me around KL and celebrate my birthday is already a birthday present. Anyway, if you want to get me birthday present..hhmm...can. Just that I don't know you can buy it for me or not oh. He's blur. I then reminded him that what I wanted for my birthday present is something that no one will be able to buy them unless miracles happen, and I guess he knew what I'm trying to say. (YAMAHA DGX620..NO WAY LAR..HAHA) Tried the clothings at Philosophy Men (one of my favourite cloth wear in fashion wise) and Zara. Price wise...WA CHA LEH!!!! Basically, I end up doing window shopping with empty handed while my friend did his shopping. Anyway, my feet was killing me, and it was my fault for wearing the wrong type of shoes for my outing. So we make way to Starbucks KLCC for a drink, and a 2nd birthday cake of the day; Strawberry Cheese Cake. And then, we chatted again. STRAWBERRY CHEESE CAKE FRAPUCCINO ICE BLENDED CARAMEL WITH WHIPPED CREAM From KLCC, we make way to Times Square with our objectives is to find out the music shop when the promoter got my friend an offer on Maxis's promotional stuff, of which apparently he applied them already. Then we had our walk, hunting for the music shop, and in vain, all of them were closed. Then from Time Square, we need to make our way to KL Sentral to collect BUBU's bag, and then went over to Pasar Seni, down to NANDOS Restaurant at Petaling Street for dinner. During that time, I wish I could just go to massage centre to get the masseur to massage my feet. I was so freaking tired, and my butt was shaking left and right, just like Donald Duck's butt. 1/4 HOT PERI PERI CHICKEN WITH VEGES AND CHIPS Anyway, we had 1/4 chicken with sidelines. Not bad, and I had Hot Peri Peri sauced to take with and it was so hot that I almost got myself 'drunk'. Then, went over to Puduraya to get Bubu's ticket back to his hometown as he need to go back home already. Stayed a lil while with him and chat before it's 'TIME TO SAY GOODBYE'. While on my way to the train station, my feet was killing me, it hurts and sores, and my butt, again, keep shaking to the left, to the right, to the left, just like how Donald Duck walk with his big butt shaking to the left and right. I guess I must be super tired with my outing of the day. So in the end, I took the cab back home. Reached home, tried to boil water but there was no gas, so I have to take birthday cold shower, then rest. Oh yeah, I do check on my e-mails and I was shocked to see that I have so many incoming e-mails need to check one by one. Most of them were actually a notifications of some websites telling me that there's incoming messages and comments, of which I just need to go in and check them out. And then at the same time, I went on MSN and there's few more people quickly wished me Happy Birthday before the clock strikes 12AM to the 25th June, which is Jeremy's Birthday (my hometown's church friend) 25th JUNE - Overslept due to still exhausted from yesterday's celebration. Although I left the house a bit late, I manage to reached office earlier by few minutes by taking a cab. Reaching office, was just normal day for me, validating cases, had discussion with team leader and my seniors. Early that time we went out to the makcik van site to buy our breakfast and that's where I told her that basically was super exhausted with my celebration, and all she response is just..Oooh..ok. Eventually, while I was working on that part, I was asked to compile data so that the team leaders could work out the templates. While compiling, babe told all of us to proceed to pantry for a group meeting. As usual, I just lock my pc and left. However, I was asked to stay out at the moment. For no reason ?? Then suddenly they sang birthday song for me. OMG, now that's really surprising. I almost had tears in my eyes, almost drop 'em. But nah..I tried super hard not to let tears drop from my eyes. And the agents outside the pantry were suddenly staring into the pantry room to check out on a special event. Really touching. THE TOUCH ON A CAKE I thought they were not really attentive with what cake I want, but I guess they prove me wrong. They got me something of which I always wanted though, at least it fits the criteria. They got me Blueberry Cheese Cakes with White Chocolate. We had so much of laughter in the room. MY BELATED BIRTHDAY CAKE MY BELATED BIRTHDAY SLICED CAKE THE JOKER THE BABE THE WHALE THE MAMA TURTLE AND THE BABE THE JOKER AND THE HOLY ONE THE BEAGLE AND THE CHIWAWA ========================================================== As for Birthday Presents, nope, no one got me what I always wanted. Maybe miracle didn't happen that time. (Well, almost got it..but nah...I rather get it on my own). So far, no one gave me any birthday presents on my birth date (exception for BUBU). However way before my birthday, I already have 3 advance birthday present, and all of them comes from my hometown Uniquely Japanese Bowl SF a.k.a. Mamasan presented me this gift as she learned that I like it very much coz I keep mentioning ot her that this japanese bowl is very nice and it will be even nice to put it up as a display. Oh yeah, not forgetting our Diva Dotti gave me a box of japanese biscuits. Nice indeed, and it's already processed in my tummy. OSIM Batt-Operated Toothbrush Usually it doesn't cost cheap ler. I was lucky enough to have them as the bank had sent me a birthday voucher gift and asked me to go over to any outlet and collect them. GRAND-PIANO GLASS GLOBE Just few days prior to my birthday, sot-sot Connie and I were chatting on msn and then she asked me for my home address. I thought she wanted to send birthday card, which is why I gave her my home address. Next thing I know is, she told me that she's going to courier the present over to my place. Gosh..and I thought, she's couriering a birthday card for me? Wow..must be nice. Just that, the present has to be delay due to unforeseen circumstances. Just recently when chatting with her, she sent me a picture of a package. WAIT!?! A PACKAGE. She eventually courier a package to me. In the picture it look like something big. Wah...No wonder why she's sending the item over to me by courier lar. And my biggest mistakes, I gave her my house address, so the present got delayed big time. Due to my gan-cheong ness, I actually went over to the courier company to collect the item which I was, by right, was not suppose to go out during the certain period of time. (Sorry babe...my big time fault ).
**************************************** Among all the birthday I got up-to-date, I think there's nothing can ever beat with what I have for this year. The most precious birthday gift that I ever could had and will never be able to trade them. A Ring Yeah...many friends of mine noticed that there's something on my finger after I got back from my hometown recently and though that someone special gave to me. Indeed, it is someone special. My mum. Just few weeks prior to my homecoming, my mum asked me what I wanted for my birthday present. Instead of thinking some materialistic stuff, I was thinking one thing. Few years ago, I've observe my mum, grand aunt, aunties and uncles who grouped together and buy a ring, or a necklace, or a bracelet for my cousins. Probably am jealous. Then I was thinking, why did they get those but I didn't have any for myself, except with the silvers by my friends. At the same time, I do not want to burden my mum to come up another expenses just to buy me the stuff, and it will make me feel extremely bad, so I didn't tell my mum what I wanted that day. Few days later, she asked me again and she just said that she will just try but no promise. So I told her what I have in mind. My point is, I want something that symbolize her love for me as mother-child. She then explained to me that in fact she already got us something for three of us, but only intended to pass it to us when she is about to 'go'. During my homecoming and after my cousin's wedding tea ceremony ended, myself, my mum and my sister went over to Wisma Merdeka to do a bit shopping as my mum need to bring me to the goldsmith to find the right size for my finger and the cool pattern. My sister were asking what my mum going to buy, and my mum only say 'something lar'. for a weekend vacation
Ever since I joined the gym, I have only go for cardio and weight training and always make an effort to go for gym at least 3 times per week, and if possible, everyday. For about more than 3 months, I have yet to join their class, and my friends keep telling me that I should try this class, that class..gosh..lots of name. Last week I have decided to join the 1st class in gym era. Last Tuesday night had tried Hip Hop Class, and the steps was incredibly different compare to how I had since last 2 years ago for a dance performance. I think it's been long time I since shake my booty and body, and I had body aching all parts of my body, but I feel good, feel so sexy. Just aching. Last Sunday afternoon I tried the 2nd class..Body Step. It's function is to work out on all kind of areas of your body part, especially the leg and the butt area. The tools for this body step is just a board in front of you and all you need to do is just follow what the instructor ask you to do. "Do the basic right, then side kick, then manuever, then swirl, etc"..Gosh..this class is just a beginner level, and yet need to do turn here and there. I just cannot imagine what if I joined Intermediate and Expert..I'm definitely confirm will go flat out. Not forgetting that the instructor got us to do sit up, push up, legs up straight and STRETCH!!....That's really exhausted..but am feeling it. After the class, walked over to KLCC (along the way, I stopped by at Subway to buy myself half-foot Turkey Delight, tasty and delicious yet healthy but not really filling type of meals. First, went into OSIM to claim my free gift (Yeah..I received a free gift voucher from a bank as my birthday gift for this month..so nice.) Then walk around KLCC to do window shopping (despite there's megasales going on, I just don't dare to shop already since I"m seriously broke..due to my big day?) Since nothing much to do, I just took train and went back home straight, took shower and had my sandwich Subway and just rest at home. Thinking back again....the last time I thought that New Year is over, and I was looking forward for Christmas. Just few blinks and now it's already June, another 6 months to go for Christmas (and 5 more months left for my 3rd Asian Trip). Anyway, few more days left though.
| | For so many shows that I watched on TV (Malaysian Idol, One In A Million, I Want To Be A Model, etc..), this is the first time that I really stepped in a live show and get to watched all kind of scenes, especially during the part where the commercial was on air. DJ did a bit of give away some freebies to the audiences on the floor, while I'm being seated at the VVIP seats. |
Yeah...you heard that, at the title itself. For whole morning was busy reading the e-mails when Mala asked where we wanted to have lunch. After discussions, our collegue Aaron Bradley (In my office there's 3 Aaron, so we categorize ourselves as Wong, Bradley and Daniel) suggested to have banana rice nearby the FAM. Off we go to the food. We have about 7 of us went there together. From our office to this venue is actually very near with shortcut. Thanks to our Dawg, he brought us one big round, and we were like.....AIyoooo.....he's bringing us such a big round just to get us to that banana rice shop. The name of that restaurant is Sri Devi. Located somewhere at SS something.. hehe.. The only thing I knew is it's somewhere around FAM. On the way to the restaurant (at time of taking this photo, I was being jokingly scolded for taking too much photo) We are here.... Rice with kuah, and veges Spicy Chicken Illustration on how to eat rice in Indian style Illustration on how to drink water in Indian style aawww.....a fishy and a big whale
I finally found another vain-pot buddy.
I was waiting for the bus when phone call rang my hp. Looking at the screen and it was my collegue who's calling, so I picked. To my dismay, it was a nothing but just background noises. And then, I hang up. Just few seconds later, phone rang again, and it was her. Knewing that it must be that her handphone were not being keypad-locked, I chosed to click on 'busy'. Normally, at my bad times, I will just accept the calls and let it run for minutes, or even hours, of which the last record I did was 1hour 30mins and it got disconnected by the caller themselves. (So evil me) After this happen, I then thought of something. My name. Aaron. My name has always been unique, being the first person in the list. I remember when I was still in primary school, where the female-o-sarcastic-dentist will get someone to come into our class and start to call out the name based on the list, and when that happen, I'll be the first person to be call upon to do the checking and also to do the drilling session...arrgghhh....scary. During the exams and even an aural test, my name became the first person to be seated at the most front and at the first position. In highschool when I was at form 5, my class teacher eventually made us seat in pairs, male and female sitting together since we are famous of turning our class into fish market (despite her arrangement, we still made too much of noises). In the college, again, I became the first person to be seated at the front seat, despite that I got the student ID number and the exam number. Even my music exam also, I became the first person in the respective grades that I'm in for it. But I do believe that with my name right now, I got good priviledge, at least being the first person to go thru, and the first person to finish off whatever matters that need to settle, especially when comes to exams like aural test. Even in the phone list, I can assure you that about 80% of my friends who has my number will have my name as the first person in their contact list. The only disaster part is when they forgotten to locked their keypad and put their hp either in the front or back pocket and with any press of call button, there goes the call to my hp ring, to ring harmoniously in my office, and also during the meeting, which was suppose to be on silent, and got looked embarassed for forgetting about silent-moding it. There was one time when I was attending my interview with the big boss, when my phone rang. I must have been too nervous until I have forgotten to switch it to silent mode. Partially I blame my friend for calling me at the hour where my nerves get around me, but also blame myself that I forgot all about it. So friends, if I am the first person in your contact list, do remember to lock your keypad.
By the time I arrived KK, it was already 12.15.am. The Terminal 2 was renovated and based on my personal opinion, it was so much beautiful and nicer compare to LCCT. Why can't LCCT do that? Reached home, unpacked my clothings, cook my super early meal and then got doze off. The next morning, I was still lying on bed but can't sleep further when my cousin called me and asked me out for breakfast, and so we both went over to San Francisco for Big Breakfast. She then send me home again as I need to practice my music pieces; Bridal March and Wedding March, and to my dismay, it took me for whole morning and I can't get the tune right. I was so stress up and had keep trying hard till I'm full with sweats just to find the correct sound. Later in the afternoon drove out to Wan Chai Restaurant at Lintas Square with my sister and the food there, honestly, not really tasty. Service wise...so bad. My comment for this restaurant, it will be my first and the last to visit this restaurant. Then went back home to get the ice box before heading to my cousin's place to help out for later's dinner. The next day was a big day for my cousin (and a stressful morning for me). I reach church at 9am, and after setting up the piano and sound system, I practice my songs, include the praise and worship songs. And the hour has begun when the bride was already arrived at church and that begin my ordeal to play the song for her to march in. An Honorary Pianist of the Day (Yeah..thanks to the camera-man for losing focus on me, resulted for not nice photo on this pic) The grand entry of a bride The nerve-wrecking-waiting groom Only musician out there will know how I will felt when I played the music throughout the music, so I leave them to comment about it.HAHA Later that part, it seems that most of the people got shock that I came back to hometown as aunties and uncles were asking me about my work and my life in KL. Anyway....we had wedding receptions where everyone proceed to the hall, where myself and my big brother prepared the 'canon' while my sis and another cousin of ours prepared confetti for the newly-wed-couple to approach the hall. And 'Ka-Boom' towards the couple when they arrive the hall, marking their entrance to the hall. Confettis Later, we headed to Shangri-la Tanjung Aru Resort for tea ceremony, where I also get to offer the couple's a cup of tea and in return I got a red-packet (not telling you the amount :P) All of us got chance to participate in Tea-Ceremony. After the ceremony, myself, mum and sis headed to Wisma Merdeka for a bit shopping. Basically, my sis shop the most, and it was for her dress for later evening's wedding dinner. Oh yeah, my mum shop something for me as my birthday present in advance (not telling ya yet:P) Head home, rest a while before getting change to our evening wear for the dinner. Once we reached there, we helped out as usher, assisting the guests to come into the hall and show them their table. The wedding dinner started at 7.30pm sharp, and they are still late comers (well...do you want to call that as part of Malaysian Culture?) Oh yeah..for me and my elder bro, we were all seated with relatives that we don't really mix with. Nevertheless, me and my bro had great time talking about stuff...ya know...boys talk. We didn't really eat much that night as we been busy walking around and after the toasting session, me and my cousin, together with my brother went out and chat there, until the dinner was over. Well, the wedding day and night is all over already. Although tiring, but I still had great time with the joyous occassion.
