| | It was my 2nd time to visit Malacca. This time I had explored their local foods and their night market street. Had tried nice (and disgusting) foods, but it was worth trying it out though. |
Based on the previous blog, the part where I get pissed of with those bloody actions that I have to 'taste' them..it was this time that I decide my plan and decisions for myself without thinking of the other party's feeling. That's right. I think it's better to think of myself more than they do. Pissed words aside..I would like to share about my trip to Malacca this time. -first time in Malacca : Dated 27th November 2006- That's right. Lots of people were telling me that Malacca is just a small town and nothing much of nice to visit about. I would love to tell those guys that don't underestimate Malacca as although it was a small city, but it was rich with historicals sites, a place which you will actually see the old buildings and stuffs that are still exist in the current new generation of the year. -my vain-pot session in Malacca ; Dated 27th November 2007- Arrived there on Saturday afternoon around 5pm, then reached at the hotel and checked in, got the rooms and rest a while as I had a bit of headache. At night time, we went out to the Jonker Street, and that's when the 'penjaja' are in the midst of setting up their booth or tables to sell their stuff. When I said stuff, I meant antiques, toys, accesories etc. (You name it, it's all there). Oh yeah, our main agenda of that night was to explore the sites during night time, hunting for the local foods, and of course...SHOPPING!! (My original purpose of this visit was suppose to be photography and sightseeing only) During our exploration, we drop by at the herbal shop to get ourselves a herbal tea drink. It was extremely awful after drinking it coz it was so bitter until I can feel it's bitterness down my throat that lasted me for few minutes before I get myself another iced 'liang cha' to get rid of that 'bitterness'. (aahhh....si fuk sai) We then explore at the corner alley site, whereby there's this famous place to enjoy the delicacy of seafood and some veges. It's oysters, siput babi, tofu rojak and clamps. Wow..it's really exotic enough I guess, but we decided to go back there later as there's so much for us to explore around. We then took another alley back to Jonker Street and that's when the real thing starts; we start doing window shopping around the places. I had ABC Cendol with Durian Flavour. This sticky roundy thing that it taste quite nice (just don't eat too much of this stuff..it ain't good for your health) During our exploration at the night market, I found few items that reminds me of my childhood games...this includes the bubble thing that you use to stick them to your straw, and you blow them and it will grow big and become like a balloon. After for all the stuff we tried, we were kinda full, so we walked around places until we feel a bit hungry, and that's when we went back to the place where we gonna sit by the street and had our oysters, siput babi and the tofu rojak. It was nice (and yet disgusting), had a feeling of going to puke, but it was alright, afterall it was something for me to try out as a tourist. -this 'chinese guy' came to this place before-
On our way back to the Jonker Street, it happen to be a man who can poke 3 coconuts with his index finger, by using his 'supernatural' medicine after poking it up. This guy actually got himself into the Malaysia Book Of Records.
While he keep maintain his suspense on doing his 'stunt', he has been so 'long-winded' talking about what makes his finger ok despite with the pain that he have to bear when doing his stunt, and that's when it was his (and his chut-chais) took this opportunity to market and sell the special medicine. It was then we left this group and continue our exploration. The next thing we drop by was at this shop where they are full with shirts and pants. Unfortunately, I've been seeing too many shirt that look quite like ladies, but I also happen to see some of them that I like very much. I asked the lady if there's shirt for the guys, and she told me those shirts that I've been pointing at was a guy's shirt. In the end, I bought two of them, coz it was really really nice and cute. -bear in mind..I am not in BALI- Then the last thing that we bought was herbal eggs. Wow..it seems that our foods was more into herbs. Really ate lots of cool (and hot) stuff to munch. By the time we finished our exploration in the night, it was already midnight. It was really late (and I'm tired as well till been yawning while walking around the place). The next morning, woke up, had our american breakfast in the hotel itself, before went out again, this time back to the historic places and took so many photos of it (in different angles and 'angles').
-for more pictures, click here- Took some of my vain-pot photos as well. -for more pictures, click here- We then headed to a famous stall for it's Chicken Rice Ball before we checked out from the hotel, and then make our way to buy 'Huang Li Ping' (Pineapple Biscuit). -famous Malaccan's Chicken Rice Balls-
It was a famous biscuit in Malacca that it was really delicious and fresh baked on that hour itself. One thing about Malacca is that it has too many small roads and one way street until we got stuck in between for 1 hour before we finally got out from Malacca, and headed straight to KL. Although it was my 2nd time visiting Malacca, I find it interesting about this place as it was not only rich in history architecture and cultures, I realised that it was very famous in arts, the way how they draw up into a graphic and carvings. It was an extraordinary. Someday am looking forward to bring my family, especially my sister to do her accesories shopping in Malacca, as there are lots of tables that sell all types of earrings at a very affordable and reasonable price (about 5-10pcs for RM10..damm cheap if you want to compare it with KL's night market or at the malls).
--GOODBYE-- I've been working with them for almost 2 years, and it's time for me to move on for better perspective. The last question that were asked by my Operation Director during the exit interview was something of which I answer him with my honesty heart in one word; MEMORIES. Memories can be sweet, it can be torture, it can be horror as well, and it can be nightmare. It really depends what you have gone thru with it, and it shall remain in your mind always, no matter how hard you tried to get away with it. When I answer him this, I further explained to the director that it was with my colleague's support, I was motivate to be stronger person. With their motivation, I became an outspoken crazy sarcastic person, and still maintain my nice side of me. With their help and their kind heart, I was brought up every time I fall down. This make me miss them a lot when I had to make the final decision. From front to back : The Whale; The Starfish; The Turtle Of course, am excited to move on to the new environment, with great challenges just ahead of me. Prior to that, was counting my moments of my end day before I could move on, until to the final day, it was just a very normal simple farewell. yeah..my favourite babi
On my final day, my job was only to ensure that work are done and updated. Then the next thing I need to do is to start sweeping off my desk, pack my stuff and ensure that it's totally clean, then time to pass up my ID, the consoles and the locker key to the HR, then start to say goodbye to the people. To the e-mail department, only their TL knows of my departure, but I got her to keep it quiet coz I just don't feel the need of publicizing my departure. yeah..me and my boss has the intimacy as boss-chut chai..just don't think of scandal Met up my few agents to say the final message. And of course, prior to my final hours, I wrote them a farewell message. Something unique for me to do (just no more farewell message via e-mail). This time need to give a goodbye with style. one common thing about me and her. our cheeky cheek!
At 6.01pm, I then have my last walk, step out of the office and it was my freedom of hours for me at that time. And then, I went home. my clean-O-desk (after packed)
--MOVE IT-- An interesting evening that had happen on me again; this time it involves $$. Few weeks ago, my god-brother, who was one of the member in this performance, told me about this performance. Seeing that he will be performing with his gangs, I decided to attend which was held at Actor's Studio at Bangsar Shopping Centre. Well, the thing is, it's kinda ridiculous for me to go there alone, which is why I asked another good friend of mine to join me. Of course I asked him whether he wanted to join me or not before I ask my god-bro to proceed to purchase the tix or not. It was just hours prior I want to leave the company, my god-bro called me up and told me to collect the tix at the counter as he will need to be by the backstage for make up. That time, I contact my friend to remind him about it. Sadly to say, he has totally forgotten all about it and he was in IPOH at that point of time. That point of time, of course am furious, am upset, am disappointed, am angry..but upon hearing this matter at that point of time, the first thing I did was just calm down, and just told him that I'll find the alternative; by finding other people to replace his seat. But in-avail..been looking through my contacts, and also even asked The Whale if she wanted to join me for the performance. None of them wanted to join me. Too bad for me then, I have then finally make my worse decision, that is to attend the performance ALONE while holding two tickets that cost me RM64. (Yeah..I have to bear the cost for getting an auto-entitlement to join 'FLY-MY-PLANE programme) Anyway, the performance was great. It features a compositions that has been done by both local and international. I have such a great time (despite attending the performance ALONE), when I tap my feet on the floor and feel the music. Oh yeah..this concert was really strictly for those who really appreciate music, coz non-interest in music will give you a dull night. After the concert, met up my god-bro for a while to pass him the money tix (on 2 seats when I'm attending it...ALONE) when I also happen to meet up my hometown church member who was also one of the choir member as well. After the whole performance, took cab back home, start to do a bit packing and then went to bed earlier. --IMPROMPTU TRIP TO SINGAPORE-- Day 1 - Woke up at 7am plus, get changed and make my way to Puduraya, purchase my bus tix, counting down the minutes before our real departure to Singapore. Yeap. I only make last minute decision to visit Singapore as I'm trying to kill my fri-til-sun-doing-nothing-that-relates-with-work-at-all time. Reaching there by 3pm plus, whereby met up my friend, have lunch and walked around at Causeway Point Woodlands, then headed to the hotel. Yeap. Like I said, it was an impromptu planning that we finally decided to stay in the hotel with reason of convenience to get our ass down to the city. Rest in the hotel as I've been so tired to have pain ass sitting in the bus for 5 hours plus. Then we had Buffet Steamboat at one of the steam boat restaurant. It cost SGD15 per pax, however the good part about this restaurant was we can dig in as many stuff as we like. And so, we took many varieties of stuff for us to get it cook. What makes this restaurant unique is, not only that they using the original and traditional steamboat pot, they used the electrical one as well (and we used this for our dinner). What we do enjoy the most is their service. They really offer us their very best level of customer service. They keep asking us if we want this, and want that, and want this...and we politely tell him that it was ok and will call them once needed. After for those struggling moments for me to munch those foods for the dinner, I finally call it a night dinner as I was over full, and my friend still can eat more by few portions. Reach at the hotel, nature call gave me a ring, and so I did what I have to do (ahh....si fuk sai). Bit later of the night, my good friend fetch me out and brought me around all the alleys, roads and shops around Singapore City, and I finally get clearer (night) view on city life. He also brought me over to the pubs at Clarke Quay to explore around the pubs and clubs. Then went back over to Geylang to have supper before go home and start to get doze off. Day 2 - Went into Vivo City, City Hall, Fullerton, Merlion, St Andrew Church, Clarke Quay and Bourke Quay and Orchard for day time photography sessions and walk around.
Night time my good friend and his partner brought me out for dinner at places I don't know how to call it for Hainan Chicken Rice and set of meals. These couple were very loving and funny. After dinner, we had a walk around the place, and we then finally took a walk to Espalanade, and they gave me a good tour and information about Espalanade and it's surrounding. Then, again, they brought me over to Clarke Quay at Fashion Bar for a yamcha session and been yelling with each other for being inside the noisy-box.
Day 3 - Woke up super late, then had a quick shopping at Sim Lim Square and went over to Bugis Village for brunch before we took the bus to Causeway Point Woodlands, that cost me 1hour plus to get stuck in a small spacious bus. By the time I reached there, my knee sore. ice cream waffle, popular street-dessert in Singapore Anyway, saying goodbye to my friend, then took the bus down to the checkpoint, well, another farewell to Singapore again, then make my way to Larkin Terminal, JHB. --UNPLEASANT TRIP-- Upon reaching Larkin Terminal, my first objective is to purchase bus ticket back to KL at the earliest time available. Unfortunately, most of the bus were either full or only available at later time. What I was kinda surprised of, the JPJ eventually have post up the ticket's bench mark, whereby tix from JB to KL would actually cost only RM24. What these cheaters did was they charged us as innocent victim ranging RM35-50. One of them persuade me to go into the bus that gonna cost me RM35. I first have a good look at that bus. Looking at the bus condition, well, I didn't really go into it, was just another rojak bus, so I just paid up and get inside. To my horror, this was even worse than a rojak bus. It was extreme odour-torture and disgusting, even the insects were roaming around the bus. I was like WTF!?!?? Friend in Singapore called me up to make sure that I'm ok in Larkin, and I eventually complained to him about the bus services in JB up to the max. (Yeah..really like pat poh). Oo...just like what I previously mentioned in shout-out...I paid RM35 from JB-KL and this is what I get 1) For a extreme bad bus 2) Being taught to lie to the JPJ authorities in case if they ask us about the bus tix and we should say RM24 instead of the bloody amount that we paid earlier or else we couldn't go home. 3) A very damn long delay (before I bought the tix, they keep mention that they will go off very soon. That time was 3.40pm. After I purchased, end up we only depart from Larking by 5pm. Two words for this bus operator - BLOODY HELL!! OO..here was the best part. I have standby about RM37 prior for my entry to Singapore. I would assume that bus tix for JB-KL would cost me at RM24/way. As it happen that the bus tix became RM35, I only have RM2. I didn't drink much water, and I was so starving as well. Reaching at the stopover point at YongPeng, only to find out that I only have RM2 in my wallet and the rest were in SGD notes. And I also search in my pouch and manage to find few coins. Just guess how I spend them up. A Bottle of Mineral Water and A Red Bean Bun And I'm still so damn hungry. Sigh~...am tired as well. About to reach home, stop by at the makan place for my late dinner first as I was holding on for too long. Too hungry to wait already. Reaching home, unpack my stuff and was kinda too late to do laundry already. Then pack some of my stuff for the next day big thing for my life.
Recently just got back from my homecoming weekend vacation. It was not really a relaxing as I've been out most of the time instead of resting at home, but I still at least able to have meals with my family and have a funny chat with them..ya know..family talk. Here's what I've been doing since last weekend. Eve of Day 1 (20th September) - After work, went home, and finalized my items to wrap and pack before I called it a night. Prior to that, I went on MSN and check my mails before I wanted to go off. Initially I intend to go to KL Sentral around 9pm something to catch a train to KLIA and thereafter, spend a night+morning in the boarding hall until my flight departure at 7.10am. Previously, a friend of mine promised to send me over to KLIA, that was 2 months ago. Unfortunately to say, this friend has gone MIA, and so does the friendship also goes MIA..and therefore, the promise also goes MIA. While on MSN, one of my good friend msn-ed me and asked about my flight timing and I told him about it, and also on how I'm going over to KLIA. He was shocked to learned about my initial plan, of which he then volunteer to send me over to KLIA the next morning at 4am. So kind of him. After the chat, I then start to get oink-oink as tomorrow need to wake up earlier. Day 1, 21 Sept - 4am, woke up with the help of my alarms. Was just in time that he arrived at my place, so put my baggage and together, we left for KLIA at the wee hours. Still damm sleepy. Upon reaching there, we went to the parking lot, and then went straight to the check-in hall, followby a wee-breakfast at McD KLIA before we wave goodbye (for weekend) and have to go to the boarding hall, wait there and time to call in for flight departure. Breakfast of the flight was either Nasi Lemak Ayam and Sotong Rendang or Omellete with Mashed Potato, however I mistaken hearing the Omellette as roti canai, so I took the not-so-delicious-Nasi Lemak Ayam and a rubberish-sotong. Arrived at my destination at around 10am plus. Fetched by my elder brother and went home to settle down a while before I continue do my work before I begin to declare my days as HOLIDAY. (I have my internal intention that if my collegue were to call me during that time, I will not pick up their call, nor reply to their msg unless it's an urgent case. Fortunately, none of them distract my mood of holiday). Afternoon, met up the DIVAS of the century for lunch (as promised). We met up at Equatorial Restaurant which situated at Tg Aru Plaza. The food was quite nice, especially it has fishes fillet..yummy.. DIVAS OF THE CENTURY Then, me and DC went over to her office and to meet up my ex-collegues for a while (whille SF went home) and have a quick yamcha with FF, and we happen to bump into my former boss..so damm paiseh want to say hi to him. Anyway, I finally did say hi to him, and it's pretty weird to say hi to him and after that become speechless for don't know what else to say. After yamcha session, send DC home, then back to my own home and rest a while, then me and my sis went over to Citymall, happen to find out that there's Y Fitness to be open in KK. Me and my sis had a tempting dessert at Yogur Berry, and I happen to know that there will be a branch in KL at the New Wing of the Sunway Pyramid. Yummy! Rushed home and we got stuck in the jam. Bummer!. Reached home, it was already 6.30pm and the sky was damm dark already. So not use to it (again!). Mum and brother just got back home, and almost got scolded for not reaching home earlier. :P.. Anyway, all of us had quick shower before we all went over to SuperTanker Restaurant at Bundusan for our first night family dinner. Of course we do have our family moments where we have family talk. What most important of all is that the night are a fillingful night with a great food to consume on that night. yummy Yok Choi Kai (Chicken Herbal) Pau Suk Sun (Sweet Corn Soup) Veges My biggest favourite : KU LAU NYUK (Sweet and Sour Pork) Chau Ha Gung (Fried Prawn) After dinner, my next plan was to meet up my best friend Rach and Ong-Ong for yamcha, and we have it at Starbucks Warisan Square. Had a great time to crap lots of stuff. Oh yeah, drove her Grey Myvi from her place to Warisan Square (I parked my car at her place lor) Blueberry Cheesecake Hot Chocolate Day 2, 22 Sept - Morning been sleeping like pig. Yeah..I sleep like this...cute right? ~Oink Oink~ Lunch hour, went over to my former office for a while to pass an item to my ex-collegue before I start to do shopping. Then went over to Karamunsing Complex to meet up my mum for lunch at KFC, then a brief window shopping before sending her back home and then I made my way to Wawasan Plaza for another round of shopping. This time, the sales girls were asking me if I'm a Singaporean. My last visit, I was being mistaken as Korean. Suppose to meet up another friend for yamcha during that time, however, due to unforeseen circumstances, we were unable to meet up, and then after I settle my own things, I then meet up Rach again for an outing at the beach at Tg Aru Beach. Had such a crazy moments, but it was a memorable one, as it has been a while I since step on a beach and play with the water. sunset at the beach is always the best view to enjoy it's serenity Went to Sutera Marina Club to fetch my sis and her friend from her study group session and we went over to Wisma Merdeka to do a bit shopping on my grooming stuff before we finally call it a day and I have to send the girls back home. Reaching home, rest a while before took shower, watched Mind Your Language for a while before me and my siblings went to Lil Italy for our dinner as our parents were attending a wedding dinner. OOo..indeed, we had our great time to have our pastas for the night. homemade Fresh Lemonade Siciliano in Fusilini ??? lasagna My next activity for saturday night I have 2 sessions of yamcha, of which one of them is back to Starbucks again. Sien~ Day 3, 23 Sept - Morning had a short visit to see my grandma for a while, and then went over to Foo Phing for dim sum breakfast, then went over to attend church service. Many of them got surprised to see me coming back again for weekend, for them, it was unexpected :P Afternoon, had Jappy lunch at Palm Square, then afternoon rest at home a while before go out again to meet up my x-classmate Cecilia for yamcha at San Francisco and we chatted for hours until sunset. Evening, just about to take shower when Uncle Fong and Auntie Nelly with their lil prince Ayden just arrive. Shortly after that, lil prince's King and Queen came over. We then had dinner together, and I just got to found out that our dinner was 90% MEATS!!..We had Black Pepper Lamb, my favourite Lemon Chicken, steam chicken, 'Kiu Nyuk' a.k.a. some sort of 'babi'. and a plate of a sayur that I don't know how to call it. Anyway, we enjoyed the fellowship and meals. Then we watched Mind Your Language on other episodes together in my room before I have to call it a night again, and me and my mum have to go online to make online booking for my CNY holiday trip. After making a comparison between MH and AK, we finally make the final decision to take the flight at the cost that we can bear, and we have to go thru with the trouble to fill in the informations just to get it done. And my next trip back to KK will be during CNY..(it will be a mystery). Went to fetch Still a.k.a. TAMBI for yamcha at Coffee Bean starbucks, whereby I happen to see CBK (Chee-Bye-Kia) who was there with his own gangs, which I just don't give a damm of his existence. Anyway, me and tambi had a quick and a memorable chat, been talking about work future stuff. Day 4, Sept 24 - Whole morning, again, sleep like pig. Once awake, time to do a quick-and-headache packing. Then went over to my mum's place to fetch her up for lunch with Fifi at Donggongon to have Ngiu Chap. After lunch, mum send me home and I did my final inspection of my packing before I get my dad to send me off to the airport. (Mum got me a new laptop bag as my current black laptop bag unable to use due to one of it's strap got torn off. Damm..) My new compact version of laptop bag Say hello to this 'nigger' 'NI-NI' At the check in, I get the check-in staff to book me a seat at the back row by the window seat, after the wing. Guess what, I got a wonderful gift from him with the boarding pass that bears with my seating '7A'. Damm....that seat don't have window one lar...aiya..........kek sei ngo. Since I was early, I went over to my ex-company for a while to meet up my ex-collegues. (That's right. Last time I used to worked at this company, and had gone thru with lots of shits with them, but I guess it was all about experience.). Had a good crazy chat with them when there was a sudden no-electricity. Yeah...no-electricy in the airport..pretty weird huh!? Apparently, KKIA is still in the midst of upgrading the building structure for future convenience. And again..minutes of waiting before time of boarding, it was so damm stuffy hot like crazy. Dammit. Sweat it out. Bought myself 2 new cuties. Meet Jiraf and Dofi Time for boarding and getting my ass into the 7A (Da Seat With No Window). During the meal time, we were served either a rice with chicken meat with whatever sauce and another one is tomato rice with masala fish fillet. Apart of it, there's salty peanuts and bittersweet chocolate, of which a lady sitting next to me gave me the choc as she can't eat them. And since she munch on some salty peanuts, I wanted to give her my packet as I don't take peanuts (and one more tips...when inflight, don't take salty peanuts or otherwise, a passenger can suffer pain in their ear during the descend a.k.a landing). After we finished the meals, we both chatted a while, and got to found out that she's a KL-ian, came over to KK for her family trip for 3D2N, so far only been to Pulau Manukan and also had Seafood restaurant most of their nights. She also in turn got to found out that I'm a Sabahan who are making my way to KL to get back to work. Upon arriving, made my way straight to the domestic arrival hall, and then my friend, the one that send me to KLIA at the wee-hours, fetch me up from KLIA and send me back home. He was indeed very kind, that I bought him a souvenir as a token of his help and kindness. Time past very fast, KK trip is already over. However, am looking forward again to go there by next year CNY. Meanwhile...time to get my ass and start working it out on my tummy coz I've been eating too much.
 | DROP-OFF | Sep 18, '07 12:36 PM for everyone |
This coming November was suppose to go to Bangkok with my friend for 5D4N. Due to personal reason, I have decided to drop off my plan after much of consideration. Few factors that got into my head that got me frustrated about it, and that I just can't bear with it. Meanwhile, to substitute the Bangkok trip, I will think of somewhere else to have my own holiday......ALONE!!!!
Weee~~...my friend got back to KL from Aussie and Singapore, and he got me a big packet filled with nougats as big as 1KG. For now, I think this nougats can last me until Christmas..if I didn't keep munching it while watching any movies. So sweet of him. lovely nougats..yummy
-------------------------------------------------- STEP CLASS is still on. Always feel energetic and sexy everytime I attend the class. This time I get to chat with the instructor for a while though. Last week she taught us the steps that we did last week, slowly and step by step. And finally I manage to get through (well, I was not being consistent and had bad memory in remembering the steps though). Today I was on MSN with my friend in Singapore, who is also an active gym member for our club, and he is the same person that recommend and motivate me to join the class. Today's chat was about music, as I asked him if he used to like ABBA songs, and he told me that he used to like it last time, but for now he prefer Christina Aguilera. And so, he asked me whether I want to become an instructor already, and I told him that it is still long way to go to become an instructor for gym class. But hey, why not, there's possibility though. If there's a will, there is sure a way. ---------------------------------------------------- Weekend was indeed an ok day for me, expect that I have to be alone while travelling around KL city. Friend asked me to help him search for the pirated version of Microsoft Office 2007 and etc. To my surprise, I don't see any counters or stalls that sell those. Probably there's 'operasi' going on. Well, here how I made my journey. KL Sentral down to Imbi Monorail then to Low Yatt then to HSBC tower to make my payment via deposit machine then to Menara SCB for step class. AN hour plus later, walked all the way back to Low Yatt, and roam around at the 2nd and 3rd floor to find the stalls but invain, then over to Sg Wang and roam around again from ground floor to 6th floor and can't find what I want. Next destination after that was walking over to Lot 10 and roam around there for a while before I decided to walk over to KLCC via Regent Hotel and Cosway, and once reach KLCC, roam around from basement until 3rd floor. Ooo..I also went over to Maxis Centre to make my bill payment when I happen to meet up my x-collegue SV, and he has been so nice assisting with my internet issue. After I have made payments and enquiries and assistance on my queries, I then went back to the counter where SV is located and had chatted with him quite a lot of stuff, about work, personal life and even about love relationship stuff. Well, he was few years older than me, so I really respect him as my senior and also as a friend. From KLCC, then roam around a bit more while keep thinking about what I want to have for dinner before I finally decided to leave KLCC via train with my empty stomache. Upon reaching KJ station, I was so tired and sleepy and still need to wait up for my friend to fetch me from there and to have supper. Went to Wong Kwok SS2 and had my favourite pastas as my supper. After the supper, he sent me home. Unpack stuff, took shower and apply cream treatment on my pimples, and lied on my bed to rest a while and the next thing I know is the next day was already Monday morning. Aarggh....Gosh..I hate monday. (and I still got extra time to become a vain-pot while doing window shopping in Sungei Wang) ----------------------------------- OK....talking about the internet stuff.. Basically many of my friends thought I used Streamyx to make connection. Sorry, although I'm working part of it, but I chosed to use Maxis Wireless Broadband with only one reason...it's wireless. That's right..In case if I were to move out to elsewhere, I don't have to do relocation query..All I need to do is just bring over the modem with me to the new place. Not only that, I can also bring it together with me while I'm in the major city and I can still go online while getting stuck in the jam. How cool is that. Connection wise was stable for the first few months of my subscription until it comes into the 4th month, whereby there was maintenance on network going on (it didn't affect from the Taiwan Earthquake incident though) and I can't use the internet for weeks until 1 week prior for my homecoming trip. The only thing that I'm not satisfy about this service was the information gave by the reseller, and also the people and even to the counter staff at TTDI about the HomeVoice Standard Package charge. Basically, my only reason to apply their broadband service is just for online purpose, not making phone calls or something like that as I already had my mobile phone. When I subscribe them, I also got the promo of 6months fee-waive on homevoice service and thereafter will be chargeable at RM15/mth. During the 6months waiveable period, I was still being charged on homevoice, and this really upset and frustrate me a lot. I even waste my 1 lunch-hour plus just to get my ass down to TTDI and make queries and complaint on the homevoice charge and the staff told me that they will waive it for me and also make sure that the following months of the promo's duration won't charge me. Unfortunately, my frustration has fallen into the deaf ear perhaps as there are still charge on the following month. Basically, on technical wise, I like it very much, but sometimes it was not really stable and kinda frustrated with it. Billing wise, I think this is what make Maxis become a well built company with stable incomes, for charging people on the services that was not suppose to be charged and only those smart people who look into the bill everytime the bill comes will know what is going on. SV has helped me a lot by suggesting me to get the homevoice service terminate since me as a customer has the right to terminate the homevoice as I don't use it and it was not logic for me to pay for the homevoice when I don't use it at all. --------------------------------------------------- Tonight's step class was incredible. Well, it's an intermediate level. I able to catch it up the steps though, but still need to learn more on it's variation of turning point part.. Well, it aint easy. Can you see me in this pic? Which one is me? Highlight this one to find out the truth ->I'm Not In The Pic >:P<-- Tonight was even challenging than the other instructor. Instead of just one board that we do the steps, we used 2 boards, one board on your left and another one on your right and you stand in between. not as much as this one though We first taught of the steps, step by step, and then slowly utilize the two boards on both sides and then finally increase the speed and keep do the step and turn and spin and kick. Phew~...This time am kinda dizzy after been turning round and round. Scary.~ But it was fun. Every time I attend the class, I always look forward for the excitement of fitness in physical terms. I can feel the tense on my lower body, especially on my butt and leg. -----------------------------------------------------
This title sounds like 'From Paris To Berlin (Infernal)' and From Taipei to Beijing (Shi Xin Hui)'. Just got nothing to do here though. Thinking back on what happen to me in July and August..many things had happen. Good and Bad times. Always thank God in all circumstances. In the July..not much that I can think of though coz my brain is not running at the moment (since it's morning..and it's FRIDAY). Work wise..hhmm..not really smooth, and yet not really rough. Prior to the coming month, our new supervisor Mr Joker assigned us with a new challenging task and it is indeed a challenging month for us. All of us were swap into another departments. I've been handling the E-mail teams for one year, and I guess it is a good time for me to move on to another department, of which I will be handling the Level 1. Heard that some difficult and have the attitude type of agents are being removed, so not much issue may be happen. Challenges are ahead of me righ tnow, so am really preparing myself to face it. I guess my next challenge is not only to face the TLs who are not that familiarize with me, but also to their Ops manager (sometimes I just hate explain things to them when the data is right in front of them). Previously I read my friend's blog when he blogged about himself subscribing 4MB from a broadband service. He was kinda pissed off when he applied them on the 15th June and then after for few weeks receiving no news, he then called to the Premier team and they asked for the Pin Number and he was kinda..'WAT?!?!??' Anyway, I've been assisting him in observing his application though...since I'm working in this line. Recently, he told me that the technician came over to his house to check on the line and found out that the 4MB was not yet ready to be available at his area, so he was told that it will be delay again. (Oppsii..sorry). Apart of that, there's a lot of thing that had happen to him that he shared it out via his blog, which I better not elaborate more about it since it is his stuff. August..the month of the count-down-to-the-MERDEKA days..the holiday was on 31st August and it's on Friday. Am thinking to go somewhere out there.. but where? Down to Singapore for 3D2N, short and simple trip? Up to Penang for food hunting and beach haven? Around KL for jalan jalan but really can't do much coz I'm bored of it? Where else? Genting?? Please lar..I had enough with it..going alone is not a nice thing to do. Malacca? Hmm..maybe can, but I've been there before. Sigh~...where should I go and what should I do?

for a weekend vacation
Ever since I joined the gym, I have only go for cardio and weight training and always make an effort to go for gym at least 3 times per week, and if possible, everyday. For about more than 3 months, I have yet to join their class, and my friends keep telling me that I should try this class, that class..gosh..lots of name. Last week I have decided to join the 1st class in gym era. Last Tuesday night had tried Hip Hop Class, and the steps was incredibly different compare to how I had since last 2 years ago for a dance performance. I think it's been long time I since shake my booty and body, and I had body aching all parts of my body, but I feel good, feel so sexy. Just aching. Last Sunday afternoon I tried the 2nd class..Body Step. It's function is to work out on all kind of areas of your body part, especially the leg and the butt area. The tools for this body step is just a board in front of you and all you need to do is just follow what the instructor ask you to do. "Do the basic right, then side kick, then manuever, then swirl, etc"..Gosh..this class is just a beginner level, and yet need to do turn here and there. I just cannot imagine what if I joined Intermediate and Expert..I'm definitely confirm will go flat out. Not forgetting that the instructor got us to do sit up, push up, legs up straight and STRETCH!!....That's really exhausted..but am feeling it. After the class, walked over to KLCC (along the way, I stopped by at Subway to buy myself half-foot Turkey Delight, tasty and delicious yet healthy but not really filling type of meals. First, went into OSIM to claim my free gift (Yeah..I received a free gift voucher from a bank as my birthday gift for this month..so nice.) Then walk around KLCC to do window shopping (despite there's megasales going on, I just don't dare to shop already since I"m seriously broke..due to my big day?) Since nothing much to do, I just took train and went back home straight, took shower and had my sandwich Subway and just rest at home. Thinking back again....the last time I thought that New Year is over, and I was looking forward for Christmas. Just few blinks and now it's already June, another 6 months to go for Christmas (and 5 more months left for my 3rd Asian Trip). Anyway, few more days left though.
The last I blogged was on the 27th, talking about my days in KK, and also about the wedding day and dinner that we had during the last weekend. Today was already 29th May 2007, the final day for me to be in KK, and the hour where I have to fly back to my work place for work. Too bad there's no holiday on the 30th and 31st May in KL, or I would have took lots of holiday. Some more, there's another holiday on the 2nd June (Agong's Birthday) On Sunday prepared myself to go to church to attend the service, which after that had lunch with mum, sis, uncles and auntie, (me and sis had ice cream burger)before heading back home and rest a while. Ice Cream Burger Original plan on the Sunday afternoon was suppose to go out with Still, however due to his illness, plan had to be cancel. Can't think of any activity on that day itself, therefore I had decided to stayed home until night time. The only best time for me to relax at home by reading comic, online and listen to music in my room. (And I played Kingdom Hearts ; Chain of Memories, and up-to-time, I only left 2 more level before I could finish the game and to see the ending. Mum had ordered dumplings and my grand-aunt had made us roasted duck (and even had cherries, specially flown from UK) and I was asked to collect them from auntie's house. While collect the food, I also take this opportunity to visit grandma for short chat before I went back home for dinner. During the dinner, there's lots of homely food of which I couldn't get them in KL. We had great time fellowship with each other, had our family gossips and laughter. Later at night, myself and my siblings decided to head towards Warisan Square for a bit of window shopping and had a 'yam-cha' session at Starbucks while having a '38' session. Roasted Duck Dumpling Simple Chicken Herbal Soup A Vege (I don't know how to call it) On the 28th May, woke up earlier, got changed and headed to my former office to meet up my ex-collegue as this day our activity is to search for Fried Tuaran Mee in the town of Tuaran. Upon arriving there, we were looking out for the shop but in vain, we couldn't manage to find them. So, our diva eventually suggested that we should head to Tamparuli to try out Fried Tamparuli Noodles. The Outgoers (SF, DC, AW) Mamasan and Asam Diva We then finally arrive at the shop, (and I bumped into my x-school mates, they were having lunch there..and what on earth there were doing in Tamparuli for lunch. Had a lil chat with them though). The best view of the back-side of Mt Kinabalu One of the modern version of Jambatan Tamparuli Small town of Tamparuli Old Version of Cups
Tamparuli Noodles After a meal, we went over to Asia City for Wawasan Plaza for my shopping, then heading to Wagamama Japanese Restaurant in Asia City for lunch. Perodua latest car 'VIVA' which has been just released recently, was finally appeared at the centre of the court for us to view them. Took a quick look on them and I finally found that it is bigger than Kancil and smaller than Myvi. Pricing is ranging around RM26k - RM48k from 550cc-1000cc. Although it seems to be so cute to drive, the only con part about this VIVA is the bumper area was too low, increasing chances of getting lots of scratch if it have to go thru the bumps. We did a bit bit shopping at Japan Home Shop (which I think so far in KL, we only have 100 yen shop). SF or known as Mamasan, bought me a box of 4 colourful japanese bowl, which was so nice that she presented it to me as my birthday present in advance, while DC, known as Asam Diva, bought me a japanese biscuits (She gave me air revitalisor earlier that day). We headed to CPS as I'll be meeting up Still for jalan jalan while the divas want to do a bit of shopping at Palm Square, and there we made separate ways, our goodbye once again. Roam around at Palm Square and CPS while I made a quick visit to my former office to meet up my ex-collegue and had a quick chat before we went off to Tanjung Aru for a quick snap of photo, and have an Avocado Drink (From what I know, KL-ians doesn't know how to eat/drink avocado due to it's super bitter...well, you need to know how to eat them though coz it require a special ingredient to eat it with) Panorama View of Tanjung Aru Beach, Kota Kinabalu Tanjung Aru Beach, Kota Kinabalu Auron and Still (My closests and sot buddy) The Walkway Avocado Drink
Headed home through the very jam hours until my mum had nag on me via on the phone, asking my whereabouts. Upon reaching home, my mum told me that the cake was inside the fridge for me to have a lil simple celebration for my birthday (My birthdate can be found on Auron-Declan's Schedule). My family sang birthday song, and I had made a wish (advance version) before I blow them out. Auron's Birthday Cake Ooooo......2 Big Candles and 5 Small Candles...that means..?? Me and the cake Me and my siblings by the cake
Later at that night we had dinner at the Seafood Restaurant (behind the GSC complex) together with Uncle Richard. It was such a fulfilling night that my stomach are full with seafoods. My Final Meals Lemon Chicken
Yam with some stuff inside the nest Shells Prawn Salad Cream Corn Soup Steam Fish Steam Prawns
Headed home to do a bit clean up on my wardrobe, and to do a bit packing on my luggage before I went out again to fetch Rach and went to Starbucks Warisan Square for Photoshop Session. Realising that my days has been too short for me to enjoy myself while at hometown, making me feel a bit regret for not taking longer leave (despite with the NPL status..haha)
| | On the final day of my trip, I have been busy with my own activity, of which involves travelling. Hunting for Tuaran Mee in which we finally end up having Tamparuli Mee instead, shopping and jalan and more meals later in the day, and also night. My tummy was so fulfilling, and I am very exhausted for all these activity. Here are some of the breathtaking photos that I took during my outing. |
Am all alone in the plane. Yeap.. once again, I'm flying back to KK not just for my vacation, but to attend my cousin's wedding (having me to become his honorary pianist during the wedding day). Few months before my cousin's biggest day, I have already booked the ticket via online, with one of the way that I have purchased cheap fare (and the other way was damm expensive). This year in February I went back home for my CNY, so right after my CNY trip, I've been looking forward to go back to hometown once again for weekend. Just 2 months prior to my cousin's wedding, my mum asked me if I could play piano for my cousin's wedding at the church, of which that time I never agree nor disagree, just reminding my mum that they will need to understand my situation right now, seeing that I'm all alone in KL, with no proper equipment for me to practice. Just a month prior to my trip, I was on the phone with my mum to chat on some issues (mother-son's talk) when my mum reminded me that I have to play piano for my cousin, and I'll go..(MATI KUDASAI!!). I got my sister to scan and transfer it over to my pc via msn so that I could study the scripts before I start to practice them at home. My original plan is; once I reach home, I get some sleep till the next morning. The first thing in the morning after breakfast, I'll be only having 2 hours of practice on 2 weddings songs, and also 2 hymms. (I guess my mum, uncle and cousin were probably thinking that I am a super pianist). The night before my trip, I didn't really had good sleep and wasn't feeling that well either. Had been sneezing for almost whole day until I ran out of tissue rolls, and later that night, went over to Midvalley for gym, then had dinner before head home for packing. I have totally no idea what to wear during the wedding day and dinner, so I've been observing my cloth before making decision of which cloth to bring. Despite that I have tried to minimize number of items, my luggage seems to be moderate heavy, filled with my nice clothings. On the day of my trip, I got my collegue Fixx to fetch me from my home as I'll be bringing my luggage over to office (and it's ridiculous for me to roll my bag from my home to KJ station). Reached office and my whole day was just busy doing coaching and update reports. Later in the afternoon was even more busy, when I have to do coachings on client audits and also QA coaching for the agent's 3rd week, and I didn't realise time ticks very fast that it was time for me to get my butt off work. And again, Fixx had gave me car lift to KJ station, and then took train and head to KL Sentral, then took bus to LCCT. Upon arrival at LCCT, I wander around LCCT while waiting for Kev (a photo-vain buddy freak of mine) to arrive and have dinner together. (Just few days ago I have chatted with him and told him that I'll be flying back to my hometown, and he told me that he's flying back on the night I fly back, and it was coincidently that we were departing for our own hometown and yet at the same departure time.) We had dinner at Asian Cafe, which was so damm expensive as a diner in airport. Food wise, damm NOT interesting as there are too many flies around, despite of the purple-UV-instant killing-fly-machine being installed at the corner of the shop. Not just that, the food was also exposed with flies (And I'm kinda regret of buying foods from there). Money wise, not worth it. That will be the first and my last to go for this cafe. Next, we headed to our check in counter. I was on Q, behind 4 middle aged uncles and aunties, and they were asking me where I'm flying to, then after I told them my destination, they asked me to check in first as they have a lot of baggages to check in. (Lucky-O-ME). After check-in, accompany Kev for his turn to check in before we headed towards the boarding hall, had 'yam cha' session at the Buy & Fly Cafe (This one not bad, and it's reasonably cheap. Should have come here.) We both checking out on hot chicks around us. Cool, huh! Just 30mins prior to our departure, we both seperated for our own journey, preparing ourselves to go on board. Kev was lucky as his flight was on time, while mine....aiyaya. It was delayed by another 30mins due to the late arrival of the aircraft that we were going on board and refilling the petrol. Now I am here...all lonely..lonely I am, listening to Cascada - Everytime We Touch (A nice song indeed, especially the slow version..very touch). Battery here running low, need to shut off soon. Meanwhile, do hear more from me soon, from Kota Kinabalu. Auron, signing off!
| | Went there with CK to spend time with natures. This place located somewhere in KL, of which I don't know how to explain to you, but I know you have go thru in the KL city itself and then turning into a junction that leads up to the hill, and down, and side by side.. |
Link: http://www.airasia.comNot just online booking for your air ticket, but you can book hotel and tour packages, depending on your budget. Promotion are all on going from time to time. Check them out on daily basis if you are looking for low fares. Now, everybody can fly.
| | I finally found my photo buddy, friend who loves to take and be taken photos. As we both are vain-potters, we took lots of shots on ourselves at Putrajaya, the first time for me to visit this place during night time. It was just like 2nd Singapore where the entire place were so clean you could hardly find flies and mosquitoes. Still got cockroach though..BAD!!!.
The place was quite empty until you can actually either sleep on the green grass, on the empty field, or on the road side (if there's no car around lar). |
On the 25th FEB, at the blur-sickening-hangover-mode due to not enough sleep and had an alcoholic drink the night before, finally make my way, board into the plane, and time to say goodbye to the comfort zone.
At time when I board, I remember that when I purchase the ticket, I purposely chose the flight that has related with international-bound flights. What I didn't realise is, the plane came all the way from Taipei, and the aircraft that they are using is Boeing 737. Small aircraft..gosh..
Well, still can lar..In the plane, the cabin baggage storage were ran out of space until they have to put some of the baggage into the first class baggage. I just don't understand what are those Taiwanese (or perhaps myself) brought together.
In-flight meals, we have 2 choices, of which I finally chose to have, Chicken Curry with Steam Rice. It was not bad after all.
Entertainment wise, I just don't give a damn. All I know is I'm totally sleepy and tired, so all I want is to shut my eyes off. But I couldn't. Don't know why.
When I arrived KLIA, I made my way to the baggage carousel area while making phone calls to my mum, followed by my friends in KL, just a courtesy call to let them know that I have just arrived.
Next thing is to collect my baggage at the carousel. Been waited there until the minutes when there's no more baggage avail on the carousel and I was still waiting there like an idiot. I already collect the box (inside the box...7 containers of my favourite's mum's home-made cookies..you just got to believe it) and I was wondering "WHERE THE HECK DOES MY BAGGAGE FLIES TO". Then I notice there's 3 guys, MAS and the MASB staff were standing at one spot of the baggage carousel, surrounded with some baggage. Guess that must be left-over. Wait a minute....there was one of the baggage that look just like mine....hey...it is my baggage....What The...................
You know what happen to my baggage? Somebody had decided to add on the extra identification by have the rainbow-colored-baggage-strap on my baggage handle. Just weird. I don't think it was mind. While making my way pass thru the immigration and were on the phone with my mum, I suddenly notice that the lock that I had on the baggage were missing and the lock holder part were damaged. I was so super pissed off that after explaining the situation to my mum, I went to the lost and found baggage department directly and start to bombarded the staff over the counter. (Gosh..since when I start to have hot-temper?) The best part of all, the staff were having 'Like I Care' attitude..but she didn't really show it obviously though. Anyway, she got me filling up the form, and then later told me that there will get the person in charge of the baggage to meet me up and collect my baggage for repair on the damage.
After all these situation that I have to go thru, I just made my butt off the KLIA and start to take train and head home. It was indeed a tiring, and 'pissed'ful day.
